A few weeks ago I found a new artist named Zack Zilla. He is young. His career started with Disney and acting, and then he added musician and dancer to his list of talents. I saw an interview with him that I found so inspiring. He is from Tampa which endeared me to him even more.
His message in a nutshell is that we are all superheroes. Whatever it is that we love is our superpower and during these difficult times love is the power that is going to heal us all. He also had an interesting take on the “haters” and said when he sees some of the negative comments on social media, instead of letting himself get down he just tells himself “maybe they don’t understand me”.
At one point in the interview the journalist asked if he had any advice for anyone who wanted to be successful in the entertainment business. Zack’s answer was for everyone. He recommended that each of us look in the mirror and affirm that we love ourselves.
