The majority of our products are handmade by small cottage industries who work closely to ensure that each item produced is made by skilled crafters that are treated fairly and humanely. We encourage the preservation of traditional skills, techniques and crafts which are centuries old, yet are disappearing in many villages due to the onset of technology. Sage, used for smudging, a simple ritual whenever or wherever you feel the need to cleanse, balance or purify yourself, others, a room, our crystals or other special tools. To smudge, light bundle, set lit bundle before you in heat resistant plate--rub your hands in the smoke, gather smoke and bring it over yourself as if washing your body. As the aromatic herbal smoke surrounds you, you have entered into relationship with these herbs and the unseen spirits of this ritual--use them with joy!
